DPW observes Labor Day. Trash and recycling will be picked up one day late for all residents this week.

Labor Day, observed on the first Monday in September, honors the contributions of American workers and the labor movement that fought for fair wages, safe conditions, and reasonable hours. It’s both a tribute to those efforts and a marker of the unofficial end of summer—a day for rest, cookouts, and community.
